Ok so this is basically going to be sort of a catch all of my research involving betta breeding. From spawning set-ups, and genetics to fry care and jarring. What I learn as I learn it.
Anyway that’s it so stay tuned.

hi there just got some new males one isnt eating much i have heating right what can i do he leaves his food and other eat well can i leave female with him if i dont want to breed them and do they breed all year round please anwer my question
Hi Nick
Sorry for the delay in the response. What is is water quality like? (ie, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates) and what sort of set up do you have? Try soaking his food in garlic juice to stimulate his appetite. And I’m afraid that you can’t leave him in with a female unless you want to divide the tank. Betta’s will breed all year when properly conditioned and not too old. I hope that helps you out. Feel free to come back with more questions. Also for more great advice check out fishforum at Fishlore.com
Good luck with you’re betta kids
